Some of the most helpful blogs were chronological, detailed descriptions of the process of building various pieces of furniture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-87\" src=\"http:\/\/eastmountainkustom.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/tagefrid-retrato-00111-300x214.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"214\" height=\"156\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-90\" src=\"http:\/\/eastmountainkustom.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/99932946-krenov-photo-by-binzen-main-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"227\" height=\"156\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-92\" src=\"http:\/\/eastmountainkustom.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/img_sammaloof-300x288.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"162\" height=\"156\" srcset=\"http:\/\/eastmountainkustom.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/img_sammaloof-300x288.jpg 300w, http:\/\/eastmountainkustom.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/img_sammaloof.jpg 312w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 162px) 100vw, 162px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">While the best blogs for my own purposes are the ones with the most particulars about woodworking, I thought it might be fun to document a build of my own with the main audience being family and friends but also budding woodworkers interested in an overview. I\u2019ve tried not to get too technical but did want the reader to come away with a good idea of what is involved in the creation of a piece of solid wood furniture.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">I have had a lot of inspiration over the years from my wife Monika who fills the big gap in the right side of my brain (the creative side). In fact, a lot of my projects begin with the question to her: \u201cHow should this look?\u201d followed by me figuring out how to put it together.
